We're thrilled you're interested in joining the caving club this year. Though we can't currently run any overnight trips as we usually would, we're still a very active and social club. Tree Training We will be starting our weekly tree training sessions on Wednesday (21st) from 1 - 5pm. This will take place in Princes' Gardens (by Ethos gym). 2 people will be there to teach you how to use all the necessary caving equipment so that, when student caving is possible again, you can go on our trips involving rope techniques. It will also be an opportunity to chat, ask questions, and get to know some club members in a small group. Each slot is 1hr long. Hand sanitiser will be provided. Virtual Pub socials We plan to hold virtual socials at least once a week. Please fill in the doodle poll with your preferred day, so we can meet as many of you as possible. Depending on the number of responses for each date, we will use either zoom for breakout rooms or jitsi for ease of use. Socials will take place at 6pm. We'll be in touch with the preferred dates from the poll and the link to join will be released an hour before the start. It’s a perfect chance to meet us and find out more about caving and our club. We have a mix of boozy and non-boozy members so there's no pressure to drink if that's not your thing. *Slovenia talk and Q&A (Zoom)* ICCC have been aiding the JSPDT (the local Slovenian caving club) in the exploration of Sistem Migovec in Triglav National Park, Slovenia, since 1994.
