Hi all, *What*: Caving first aid training *When*: 18:30, Tuesday 6th Dec. *Where*: Blackett (Physics Department) Lecture Theature 2 Join us on Tuesday evening for our annual caving first aid training course. Here you will learn the basics of wilderness first aid with a specific emphasis on caving. This is highly recommended for cavers of all levels, and especially for new members of the club who are beginning to tackle more challenging trips on Winter Tour and in the New Year. The session will be split between an introductory talk and practical exercises, culminating in a series of scenarios in which you'll use your new found skills to assess and treat casualties. Blackett LT2 is a bit tricky to find - enter Blackett from Prince Consort Road, and take the stairs or lift DOWN to level 1. Alternatively enter from the Sherfield walkway or Huxley, and walk through the Blackett and go DOWN to level 1. The lecture theatres are on the left out of the lift, and will be signposted.
