Tree Training: Wednesday 14th, 1:30 pm, Princes Gardens Tree Training is a little later this week due to the expedition talk. If you haven't been before, swing by Prince Gardens to learn how to climb a rope safely - great practice for our later caving trips! If you've been before, come back and we'll show you some more advanced techniques, such as descending the rope! 3, 4: Wales I and II You can now pay for our first two trips of the year, Wales 1 and Wales 2, online! These are both weekend trips, leaving Friday evening, and returning on Sunday evening. Everything you need will be provided, including food, accommodation <http://www.wsg.org.uk/html/cottage.htm>, equipment and transport. You'll only need some normal clothes, a sleeping bag (we have a few to lend, but it's worth buying your own, they're really cheap) and some wash stuff if you want to shower. We're going to Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, an incredible cave with fifty kilometers of passage. We'll split into groups of five an explore underground all day, before returning to the caving hut for a huge meal and caving games in front of a roaring fire. Both the Wales trips are the same, so if you can't make one date, do join us for the other. You don't need any previous experience, not even the tree training sessions we offer. Check out this trip report <https://union.ic.ac.uk/rcc/caving/articles/wales-2013-10-25.html> to get a feel for what's involved.
