As a reminder our freshers trips are on these dates:

 

Wales 1: 13th - 15th October

Wales 2: 27th - 29th October

 

To sign up please buy membership and the trip fee here.

There are 9 spaces available for each trip, and allocations are first come first serve. Good Luck!

If you have already signed up then you're good to go and we'll send you more information closer to the trip date.

 

Please do not sign up to both Wales trips, we have limited spaces for trips need to give as many people the opportunity as possible, Thanks!

 

You don't need any prior experience to join and all equipment, food and accommodation is provided. We have limited amount of spare sleeping bags however, so it is advisable to bring your own.

 

Logistics

 

Kit Will be packed the Tuesday before, this gives you a chance to get to know the people who will be leading you into the cave as well! We will take the minibus at around 6:30pm from Beit Quad on the Friday of the trip date. We will then drive to a caving hut in Wales - stopping at a supermarket - and go caving Saturday and Sunday. We will aim to be back on Sunday before midnight. 

 

Future trips 

 

SRT (rope skills) trips will take place after the two Wales trips. You need to have been to sufficient tree training sessions such that we feel you're capable enough to come on these trips. As a reminder, we hold these sessions every Wednesday at noon in Princes' Gardens.
