Hi All, 

Thanks for your responses, I'm excited for this! If anyone else is on the fence about 25th - 27th, respond by the end of today if you want to go because I'll be trying to book camping space this weekend before things book up (some have messaged me on facebook instead, this is also fine). I can always try to expand the booking later though if someone suddenly becomes free. 

Also, speak now if you feel strongly about going to Mendip instead of Wales - there are now 16 whole glorious people wanting to go on this trip, and I doubt any of the Mendips campsites will have that much space from what I've seen so far. 

After I've started ringing around campsites I'll start a second email chain for just the people who've signed up to organise transport, tent sharing etc.

A weekend trip to the Mendips is looking viable!  It will involve camping as huts are currently only taking bookings from members. 

Potential weekends include the 11th - 13th June, 18th - 20th June or  25th - 27th June. Campsites are beginning to get pretty solidly booked, so I'm going to try to book one by friday - be sure to reply before then if you want a space. Spaces will be limited by the availability of cars, drivers and affordable campsite space, so it's going to be first come first served (but if we can, we'll try to do more than one weekend). 

If you'd be interested in joining us, please reply to this email with the following: 

- Which weekend(s) above would work for you?
- Are you a driver? 
- If so, do you have a car/ would you be willing to drive us if we rented one?
- Do you have your own tent and/ or sleeping bag? No worries if you don't, the club can provide these for you. 

We would not be planning on doing any caves involving SRT in the Mendips, so don't worry if you haven't been to tree training yet/ have forgotten how things work. With that said, it would still be great to see people at tree training this saturday!  

Here's hoping we can get back underground soon.
