A weekend trip to the Mendips is looking viable! It will involve camping as huts are currently only taking bookings from members.
Potential weekends include the *11th - 13th* June, *18th - 20th *June or *25th - 27th* June. Campsites are beginning to get pretty solidly booked, so I'm going to try to book one by friday - be sure to reply before then if you want a space. *Spaces will be limited* by the availability of cars, drivers and affordable campsite space, so it's going to be first come first served (but if we can, we'll try to do more than one weekend).
If you'd be interested in joining us, please* reply to this email* with the following:
- *Which weekend(s)* above would work for you? - Are you a *driver?* - If so, do you have a car/ would you be willing to drive us if we rented one? - Do you have your own *tent* and/ or *sleeping bag?* No worries if you don't, the club can provide these for you.
We would not be planning on doing any caves involving SRT in the Mendips, so don't worry if you haven't been to tree training yet/ have forgotten how things work.
