Membership This isn't an official club trip so you don't need membership, but this years membership is live on the website if you'd like to get it now -> Caving | Imperial College Union

Price there is no union subsidy for this trip, so here is the current plan for expenses:

Food and accommodation - split amongst everyone (about £22-£28)

Travel - paid individually / split amongst those you travel with 

This is not set in stone, so I'm open to other suggestions. (i.e. driving from London with everyone else's kit is expensive...)

SRT You need to know Single Rope Technique (SRT) to join this trip. This means being able to:

-Ascend

-Descend

-Change over

-Pass a Deviation

-Pass a Rebelay

Don't know SRT? Don't worry! "Tree Training" runs all through the first term where you can come and learn.

How the trip works

Those in London who need kit will do some packing either on Tuesday 3rd of Friday 6th for themselves and anyone who can't make it. 

On Friday, a car in London will be packed with as much kit as will fit and begin the slow slog up to Yorkshire. Another car will do a food shop for everyone, and somehow the scattered members of ICCC will magically and chaotically convene at Bullpot Farm!

Saturday and Sunday we will likely try some harder caving trips, cook breakfast together, and a Saturday night dinner. 

Sunday evening we will scatter, and by the same miracle which we arrived, will end up back where we came from! 

Kit unpacking and washing will probably be the following Tuesday.

(Once attendance is confirmed, we can figure out the details of transport)
