Hi all,
During a recent CHECC meeting, the idea of an online yoga class was proposed and met with much enthusiasm as a way for the members of the various Caving clubs around the UK to stay in contact with each other during this caveless year whilst also avoiding turning into complete couch potatoes.
The sessions will be focussed on the muscle groups used extensively in caving, for example when thrutching along meanders or when prussicking, and will aim to help you get better at stretching, using your core effectively and improve balance, so that you don’t need to build up all the muscles from scratch when we make our glorious return.
Key information:
Thursdays
Starting tomorrow 25th Feb for 8 weeks
7-8pm on Zoom
Led by Caroline Nunn, a fully qualified yoga instructor (Bersama Yoga)
Free of charge
The google forms link to sign up for this weeks session is below, and spaces are limited to 100 (first-come-first-served) so do put your name down if you’d like to attend.
If it’s already full, try again next week – there’ll be a new sign up sheet every week.
If you’d like to attend but can’t make the session for any reason, it will be recorded and posted on YouTube for you to follow along afterwards whenever is convenient.
Let us know if you have any questions,
Yours till our muscles remember prussiking again,
Matti
(ICCC Secretary)
