This membership provides public liability insurance which is a requirement to enter most caves within the UK. *We do this for free for all members of the caving club as part of the membership.* We will be getting the full group membership for the Imperial College Caving Club, which has the benefits shown below. *Membership classes* *Full Group Member* (Club Member, Access Controlling Body) *Associate Member* Covered by BCA’s public liability insurance policy? Yes No Receives newsletters etc? Yes Yes Can join the BCRA? Yes Yes Represented on BCA National Council? Yes No Eligible for BCA funding for club or individual projects / training? Yes Not usually Access to most Access-Controlling Body facilitated UK caves Yes (most) Variable (check regionally) We will not be getting the additional BCRA membership. Social 8 - Windmilling

Don't fret! There will be many other socials next term, though none as good as this one! You should come along! Inspired by Jan's birthday party earlier this year, we will be heading out to Brixton on *Wednesday 11th December *after tree training at *6pm *to meet at the *Hand in Hand*. We will drink here for an hour or so before heading over to the *Windmill, *where we will go and see a gig at around *8pm*. Come along!! Bring a friend!! We would love to see you. Don't worry though, tickets will be sold on the door, so if you didn't buy a ticket but still want to come along, you most likely will be able to buy it at the door (it's usually busy but they don't sell out often), though I would recommend buying in advance. Tree Training 4th December - cancelled

Sadly this means we won't be able to run tree training until it's been towed back to London. We don't know how long this will take, but we should have it back in time for next week. If you haven't learnt SRT yet, and want to attend trips next term, make sure you don't miss next week's session - it is the last we will run this year. That being said, if you've come along but haven't learnt everything yet, send me an email and maybe we can work something out.
