If you trust the sender, add them to your safe senders list https://spam.ic.ac.uk/SpamConsole/Senders.aspx to disable email stamping for this address. ******************* Hi all I proved incompetent at dates again in my last email, correct trip dates and locations are below: *Yorkshire trip - 21st to 23rd Feb * *Derbyshire trip - 6th to 8th March* As always, the price is *£37* (there's no shop item yet), and reply to this email if you'd like to come to either trips or have any questions! Reply to this email if you want to come to either trip! With this trip and in wake of the recent incident (it may also be continued going forward), can you include *your full name and CID number* in any sign-up email. * Alumni's I've been mildly incompetent and forgot to query what to do if you're not comfortable sharing your emergency contacts with the union - I will sort this! The Yorkshire trip will be a joint trip with NUCC (Nottingham uni caving club). Obviously weather predictions are impossible however current thoughts are Easegil if wet (some interest in a group to run off to Foul pot as well). Easegil has lots of possible options for trips so we can adjust them to suit anyone. Dry weather options are open to discussion however if possible running up to masongil and retrieving some rope will be highly worthwhile (Large and Marble Steps still rigged). We will be staying in the NPC as normal, a rather wonderful place with a wood burner. We actually have a confirmed minibus in advance for once, it's KYW so we have 15 seats available. I know some people have been expressing interest in caving with little / no training in srt (tree training!). I'm happy for a couple of you to come to either trip however I will be limiting these numbers so first come first serve Yours till the final email written in lectures, Jennifer *This will be shared with three members of the union (DPCS, head of student activities and student activities manager) and will only be used for this trip. Our next trip is to the *Mendips, 7th to 9th Feb*! I appreciate this is short notice however it's perfect if you haven't made any weekend plans yet. For those that like to plan ahead; a Derbyshire trip is planned for the 21st to 23rd Feb and the Slovenian expedition will be 3rd July to 9th August. The Mendips trip is a great one to go to if you haven't had the chance to come caving with us yet,* no experience or training required*. It's a lovely region of the country (I am highly biased) with many fun trips of varied length and beauty. There will almost certainly be a stop at a certain cider barn over the weekend as well, considerably nicer cider that in the union! There are also some SRT caving options that we go for if some of you fancy that. And of course, you will then got sucked into a wormhole of armchair caving and trip reports.
