Dear underground aficionados, There are *4 *spaces left on this weekend's trip to Yorkshire. We're leaving on Friday. Please see below for more details: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- tldr; - ICCC is going to Yorkshire on the *27th January *for the weekend - Email ic.caving(a)gmail.com before purchasing £40 trip fee - No more tree training *What?* After a very enjoyable and successful Mendip trip last weekend, I am please to announce the following SRT (rope technique) trip! *Where/when?* We're going to Yorkshire and staying at the Greenclose Cottage <http://www.northernpennineclub.org.uk/greenclose/greenclose.htm> with central heating, gourmet cuisine, instant boiling water, comfy beds, showers and much more! The caves planned are all in the Kingsdale area (for the Saturday anyway). This means King pot, Simpsons/Swinsto and Rowten and others. Trip fee is £40 and the trip date is *27th January.* *How?* You can come on this trip if you have been to tree training (a few times). Unfortunately *there wont be any more tree training this term. *However, If you have never been to tree training but really want to come, send an email and we *might* be able to set up a bespoke session for you. *PLEASE EMAIL <ic.caving(a)gmail.com> BEFORE PURCHASING THE TRIP FEE.* Once you have received a confirmation email from us, you need to purchase the trip fee from the online shop <https://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/shop/club-society-project-products/cav…> . This is our first and only FRESHERS trip of the second term and third freshers trip of the year. So if you haven't gone caving with us in the first term but want to give it a go, this is your chance! There won't be any SRT (rope technique) required. Where there are descents we'll be using a belay system with ladders. *How do I sign up?* Please buy the trip fee *here <https://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/shop/club-society-project-products/cav…>*. You will need to *be a member* before purchasing. Also note that there are only 9 spaces on this trip and tickets sell out FAST! Once you've purchase the fee, that's it!
