Easter Tour! 7th April - 14th April

Hi all! It is the time of the year again when we cavers should consider an escape from the cold, dark, wet UK below or above ground, and instead embrace the sunshine, Spanish mulled wine, and foreign caves, on our *EASTER TOUR*. Our grand scheme this year is to whisk away to *Andalucía, Spain*. The proposed grand scheme: - Date: 7th April - 14th April (8 days with 6 days on site) - Accommodation: A proper apartment (not a hut!) in Ronda - Estimated cost: ~£250 - Deposit: £160 required by start of January The Easter Tour will be a relaxing trip where we will experience caving in an exotic setting, among enjoying other activities such as via ferrata, canyoning, hiking, and all the great things cavers do in Andulacía. Cave Geology Talk, Tuesday 8th, 6 pm

Hey all, Tanguy Racine will be giving a talk on caves on Tuesday 8th December at 6 pm in Blackett (Department of Physics) Rm 630. Blurb: Where and how do caves form? How does geology influence cave formation? What even is geology? What even is a cave? We will address these questions during a presentation aimed at cavers, by a caver (and geologist).
