Hello cavers, We have a couple of places free on our next trip on the 26th to 28th of October (next weekend) so if you want to come, email quickly. As usual we will have our *Pub Meet * at the* Union Bar* at *7.30pm* on * Tuesday*. We have *Tree Training* at *1:00pm *in Prince's Gardens every *Wednesday. *We are doing some new things, deviations and rebelays, so come along even if you've been before (and especially if you haven't). Hello everyone, Just to remind you we've got *tree training* this afternoon (and every Wednesday) at *1:00pm* in *Prince's Gardens*. We'll probably start to do some more complicated things now, deviations and rebelays so even if you mastered prussicing and abseiling at previous sessions its worth coming to a couple more. We also just had our first trip of the term. Caving - trip this weekend

Hello everyone, We still have a couple of spaces on this weekend's trip. If you would like to come email me. We will be meeting in *caving stores* at *6pm tomorrow*. We will get you all of your equipment packed and loaded and we aim to leave for Wales by 7.30pm. We will cave on Saturday,and Sunday (if you're still up to it) and be back by *11pm *on* Sunday*. Hello everyone, Just a quick email to remind you about our *talk and slideshow* we are have *today at 1pm.* This will be in *meeting room 3* in the east basement of the union but if you can't find it someone will wander round *Beit Quad *in a caving helmet and show you the way. The talk will cover what you can expect from the club and its trips. There's also a more in depth section on our summer expedition. Caving - Reminder

Hello everyone, I just wanted to remind you of the things coming up in the caving club calendar. *Tomorrow*, we are having our usual pub meeting* *in the *union *at *7.30pm. *Also anyone who is coming on our *weekend trip* should come some time around *6pm* to pack their caving gear. On *Wednesday* at *1:00pm *in *Meeting Room 3* in the union* *we are having our *Freshers Talk* where we will be telling you about the club, our trips, and what to expect as a caver. As an added incentive there will be *free cheese and wine!* If you can't find the room we will have someone in *Beit Quad *wearing a caving helmet to lead you to the right place. After the talk we will have our *Tree Training *as usual in *Prince's Gardens.* * * Finally, we still have places left on our *weekend trip* for anyone who wants to come. Caving - Upcoming events

Hello new cavers, This is what's going on in the caving club over the coming weeks: *Tree Training* Every *Wednesday* this term at* 1:00pm* (weather permitting) in *Prince's Gardens*. We generally meet in *Beit Quad* to collect our equipment at * 12:50pm *then walk over together. We will show you the basics of SRT (single rope technique) that will be needed for the trips later in the term, this is also a great place to meet your fellow cavers and sign up for trips. *Pub Meet* Every *Tuesday from 7:30pm* we will be meeting in the *union bar*, so if you have any questions, want to sign up for trips or just want to hear tales of caving glory then come along. We'll be the ones with the caving helmet. *Fresher's Talk* On *Wednesday the 10th of October* we will be hosting a talk at *1:00pm in Meeting Room 3* in the Union. This will go through what our club is about, what to expect from trips and a look at our summer Slovenian expedition.
