Dear all, I'd like to say welcome everyone who signed up at the Fresher's Fair this year, and hello to all of our returning members. It was great to see so many people on Tuesday and I hope that I will get to know all of you over this coming year. We have lots planned and I can't wait to get started! First of all I'd like to introduce the committee. I'm Dominic, this year's president, and am in charge of organising the club and the various events that we will be partaking in. Joining me is Erik, our treasurer, who looks after the finances of the club and Stella, our secretary, who will be sending out e-mails to keep you up to date with what's going on in the club. Our first meeting is going to be next Monday 12th October in Blackett 539. This is in the Physics building on the 5th floor; I have attached the floorplan to help you find your way - if you have any difficulty finding us on the day then feel free to contact me on 07748995181. If you haven't played bridge before, then don't worry - during our first session we will be teaching bridge from scratch. We will also have several tables set up so that if you do know how to play then you can jump straight in. There will also be some snacks, tea and coffee available throughout the session!
