waddle around and meet new friends
Hi all, The Cambridge people are holding their next BBO on Saturday. Details below. Hi Everyone, Based on the responses I’ve received, our next BBO session will take place this Saturday 2nd May at 14:00. If we have 4 tables then we will play 12 boards (around 1h 35); If we have 5 tables again then we will play 15 boards (around 2 hours) to complete the movement. By popular demand, the session on Saturday will be scored using X-IMPs. If you have not yet filled out the form, you will need to complete it here – https://forms.gle/CaUGRgLWkZNLtvNV9 – before being able to register on the day. Otherwise, everyone else can register as normal on BBO; Again let me know if there are any problems. I look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday! Thanks, William P.S. So far I have also received interest in team games from Lawrence (lawrence1994@gmail.com) and Gabija (gp1g17@soton.ac.uk); I will forward on contact details if anyone else would like to play. Remember to sign up on the Google Form first if you're playing (looking at certain individuals here 👀). Until next time, chongyou
Hi friends, This is happening again and maybe you might be interested this time. Hi All, I’m excited to confirm that our next BBO session will be on Friday (15th May) at 2pm (UK time). This session will be scored using normal matchpoint scoring (with the plan to alternate between MPs and IMPs each session). You will be able to register from 12:00 – please can you make sure you are registered by 13:55, after which I will close entries if we have an even number of pairs (and look for a random pair to avoid a sit-out). One thing to note: BBO has moved the “Casual” section of its website onto a different server. This means that friends who are playing in this area of the site will appear as offline. To register, make sure both players are just on the homepage. You will also need to make sure you are not in this part of the site when the tournament starts – it will no longer automatically take you to the tournament (let me know if you have any questions, I know it sounds a bit muddled!). Hopefully we’ll get a good turnout – I look forward to seeing many of you there!
