A few of you enquired about competitions, here’s one: Portland Bowl.

Portland Bowl is the annual Inter-University Bridge Competition and we are looking to send 2 teams this year. The competition is a stepladder format and teams will play in a few (likely 1 or 2, depending on the number of participants this year) matches over the next few months before the top 4 teams meet at the Portland Club in April for the semis & finals.

In the (unlikely, fingers crossed) event where a team gets knocked out in the first round, you will get a chance to participate in the Portland Plate instead and still have opportunities to compete!

We are currently looking for players to fill up the 2^nd team, if you are keen and interested in playing in the 2^nd team, do let me know in private (or with a partner)!
