Hi All, If you have signed up to this mailing list but haven't been able to attend Bridge Club yet, don't worry, it's not too late to start! Several of you have been asking about buying membership for Bridge Club. I'm pleased to say that the online payment system has finally been set up for Bridge Club - here's the link: http://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/clubs-and-societies/a-to-z/b/bridge/. If the link doesn't work, just go to the clubs & societies page on the Imperial College Union website, click on A-Z and then select "Bridge". Once there, you should click on "shop" on the left-hand side and then follow the on-screen instructions. Please buy your membership soon - it's only £2 and you will need to buy it fairly soon to continue attending Bridge Club. With regards to next week's meeting, I've taken on board the two main problems that you had (the lack of space and too much theory for the beginners' group). The advanced group will continue to be in Meeting Room 3 (where we were last week) from 5-7. The beginners' group will be in the JCR from 5-6 and then in Physics Lecture Room 2 from 6-7 (we'll take you there from the JCR, so you don't need to worry about getting in by yourself). Sorry about the half-time change but it's all I could book at short notice. In addition, the beginners' group will be playing No Trump contracts for the next two weeks, so hopefully a bit of a break from my dull theory lessons. Summary: Beginners: Meet at 5pm on Monday in the JCR and start playing some bridge!
