Due to the date of the London Cup, to give beginners who want to enter it a taste of what tournaments are like,
WE ARE MOVING THE DATE OF OUR INTERNAL TOURNAMENT TO
NOVEMBER 28TH. This is a tournament for everyone to come and play, for the experienced to see who comes out on top, and for the beginners to have a chance playing against some of the experienced players.
There will be a small entry fee for the tournament (TBC closer to the time) as well as prizes! Hope you are all as excited as we are!
The London Cup: LSE are hosting the London cup this year, it will be on December 3rd. If you have only just started out, please do not hesitate to enter, it will be a lot of fun and the tournaments are where you learn the most. If you think you would like to enter please speak to Tony.
The Portland Bowl: This
is an interschool tournament where there are 4 rounds. In 2013 our very own Phillip and Jorrit won it! We can enter a maximum of 2 teams into the tournament, so if you would like to enter please talk to others about making a team and then contact Tony.
There is now a WhatsApp group for us all. This should be used to encourage playing on Bridge Base Online or going to the Young Chelsea Bridge Club. One thing, when messaging please mention your name as they do not all show up on WhatsApp.
