Hi everyone,

A bit of a quiet tournament last week, but well done to everyone who participated. We also held our election for treasurer and secretary during the session, and so I’d like to give a warm welcome to Erik and Stella who were voted in for these roles!

This week will sadly be our last session this term – I appreciate that it’s the time of year where deadlines are looming, but it would be great to see everyone (even if you can just make it for an hour) before we go away for the holidays. There’ll be some snacks and drinks during the session, and afterwards we will be heading down to the union.

We won’t be holding any sessions over the holidays, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t go on playing bridge – either with friends of family, or else your local town will most likely have a bridge club of its own. Young Chelsea in London offers free play to all students, and it is well worth going to continue honing your skills. If you have any questions about playing over the holidays then feel free to ask me and I’ll help out as best I can.
