Hey everyone, We hope you had a great Christmas break and welcome back for a new term full of bridge! Please note there is a room change for this term. We will be meeting in *Room 1004 (10th floor) in Physics Department*. The time remains the same 18:00-20:30. Last autumn session

Hey everyone, Our last session in autumn term will take place tomorrow from 18:00. There will be sweets for whoever makes his or her contract and we will be heading to the Union or elsewhere after the session. Hello everyone, Tomorrow's session will take place at the usual time and place. There will be an introduction to slam bidding for those of you who are interested. Also, if you do not know already, on our Facebook group page http://www.facebook.com/groups/121049798049641/ there will be problems posted every week by Kok or Jorrit (if you know the answer, email to whoever posted the question) and at the end of the next term, the person with the highest number of correct answers will get a prize. Hey everyone! Just a quick remainder that the next session will be tomorrow as usual from 18:00 to 20:30 in Beit. In the London Cup on Saturday both our teams got to the semifinals where one of them did not come through the strong Cambridge team and the other drew the main part of the semifinal with the Warwick team. Unfortunately, the following quick play-off was not successful and so both teams ended up in a match for the third place against each other :) The cup can be seen on the facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/groups/121049798049641/ where you will also be able to find some bridge problems to solve! London Cup - A player needed!

Dear all, We are in a need of a player for the London Cup. If there is anyone who has not confirmed the attendance yet and would like to play (any level of experience), could you please reply to this email? It would be really appreciated. London Cup

Hey everyone! Tomorrow's session will be as per usual from 18:00 to 20:30 in meeting rooms 4&5. For beginners, we will be giving a brief introduction to overcalls and takeout doubles. The short presentation is also attached to this email. Also, on 24th November (10:00-18:00) we will be sending 2 teams (4 members each) to compete in London Cup. The venue is LSE university and many other universities from the UK will be present there so it is a very good opportunity to experience some competitive bridge. Hello everyone, We are happy to announce that both our Imperial teams won both their matches against LSE yesterday! The final score totaling to Imperial A = + 100 IMPs, Imperial Z = + 50 IMPs, LSE A = + 43 IMPs and LSE B = - 193 IMPs. Well done to all the players! A special thank goes to Kok Hong who kindly offered his seat to me and was instead behind all the board and pair movements, which is much appreciated. LSE friendly match

Hi everyone, Monday's session will be as per usual in meeting rooms 4&5. Officially it starts at 18:30 due to the system not allowing to book sessions from 18:00 but we will be there at 6pm so if anyone wants to come early, you are welcome to do so, hopefully the rooms will be empty as the last time. 'Beginners', you will be taught how to quite safely screw your opponents' bidding and make their lives difficult, people willing to play against LSE on Saturday, you will taste a couple of competitive games against each other and everyone else can just come along and play some bridge! Time change

Hi everyone, Our next session will be again in Union meeting rooms 4&5 but from * 18:30-20:30* *(this also applies to every other session from now on)*. For beginners, we will be giving very quick examples of game tactics and overcalls and then you can practice with non-set up hands what you have learnt so far. Anyone else can just turn up and play... Afterwards, we will be heading to Wildwood (Gloucester Road 154-156) for the Welcome dinner so feel free to join us there around 21:00 even if you cannot make the session. Just make sure you have bought the membership please. Also, the friendly match against LSE we mentioned before will be held on Saturday, 3rd November from 13:00 to 18:00 at Imperial.
