COVID-19 Update: We Are Doomed

Hi all, There will be a few competitions coming up: The Portland Bowl<https://www.ebu.co.uk/competitions/portland-bowl> is open for registration, and we are looking to send 2 teams of 4-6 people. This is a knock out competition between British Universities and Higher Education Institutes, and it will take place entirely online this year. Last year, both our teams got rekt in the first round, but we managed to win the Portland Bowl Plate in the end. weekly sessions and admin stuff

Hello all We will be having weekly sessions on BBO<https://www.bridgebase.com/> every Tuesday at 6pm (starting tomorrow). Please drop your username in this form<https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=B3WJK4zudUWDC0-CZ8PTB4N…> (at least by 5pm tomorrow) so that you will be able to register for the event tomorrow. We will have the event up by 5pm and we hope to see you there. Please do come a bit earlier so we can sort out the pairs(you can register with a partner, or use the "Partnership Desk" to find another person without a partner.) If you have never used BBO before, we have attached a guide from the EBU on using BBO. Also, if you are new to the game, we have also attached a bidding sheet that you can follow when playing. This year, we have reduced the membership fee to £3(from £5). Tournaments that we enter over the year will be open to members only, and we will cover the costs involved(tournament entry, transport if applicable). If you enjoy our weekly sessions and join frequently, we kindly ask that you support us by becoming a member.

Hi all We will unfortunately not have our weekly session today, as we're still trying to figure out hosting events on BBO. We will hopefully be able to start our weekly sessions at the usual time (Tuesdays 6-8pm) next week. If you haven't already, do sign up for the new mailing list here: https://forms.gle/9Zz99VyBm8GPt5719 Because we aren't able to have in-person sessions this year (no biscuits!) we have reduced the membership fee to £3 for this year(from £5). Membership will let you participate in our weekly sessions and also let you participate in tournaments (fully covered by us) that we attend. Regards your 20/21 committee
