Hey All, Just a quick reminder that the icradio show schedule will be wiped clear at 1200 hours (midday) on 30/09/17. To apply for a new slot, please email IC Radio Programming icrprogramming@imperial.ac.uk<mailto:icrprogramming@imperial.ac.uk> AFTER 1200 hrs on 30/09/17 with the name of your show and the requested time slot. In the interest of fairness; SLOT REQUESTS RECEIVED BEFORE 1200 HRS 30/09/17 WILL NOT BE ACTED ON, and SHOWS WILL BE ASSIGNED ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED BASIS. For example, a slot request received at 1159 will not be acted on, and an email that arrives at 1200 hrs asking for 1200-1300 on Wednesday will get that slot instead of an email asking for the same slot that is received at 1201 hrs. Requested slots in prime time, for example on Wednesday lunchtime and to a lesser extent other lunchtimes, should generally be no longer than one hour, as we want to make sure a decent number of people get good slots and no-one’s hogging the choicest airwaves too much. Longer slots during times that are less in-demand like Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays should be ok, as long as you’re not asking for something silly like a six-hour slot on Mondays or something. I’ll be refreshing my email at 1200 hours on the day and will let you know as soon as possible whether you have your slot or not so you can ask for another if one’s already taken.
