Greetings to all! I'm taking over from Lia as Head of Music for next year and thought I'd send out word to get the ball rolling, and start gathering a team to deal with all the Music issues. Especially as i'm working in Bosnia for most of the holidays, it would be great to get some help so that we keep things running during the summer too.. In short, I wanna know if you'd like to review music coming in, free gigs, do interviews and help organise the music that gets played out on Sustain (i.e. whenever there isn't a show on). The more we are involved the more perks we get with the distributing companies so there's a lot of motivation to keep them happy! And in playing out 'good' music and interesting interviews, we get more listeners as well. Even though it's summer, there's still loads of music to review and gigs and events up for grabs, which is great if you're in London still.. There's a lot of potential for Radio next year, we have a great, motivated committee with big plans and active members make it work all the better..
