Hi, Just a quick reminder about the IC RADIO AGM tomorrow. If you are anything to do with radio then please, please come along! The society would die without it's committee and we desperately need new blood to come and step into the breach. We are starting at 7PM in the shared studio (next door to radio) tomorrow, Tuesday 15th March. Even if you don't want to run for anything then we still need you all to come down and vote. An email from Matt, the Media chair....: " Dear All, It’s AGM time of the year again, and that includes those for Exec Committees. “Hooray,” I hear you cry, “the biggest social event of the year is finally on us.” Biting sarcasm aside, the Media Executive is a small but important part of the union’s life, and important for the running of your beloved clubs. For those unaware, Media Exec represents Felix, Photosoc, Stoic, IC Radio and Magazine society at union meetings and fights tooth and nail for as much money for them as they possibly can, and that’s basically it. Working on the media exec is brilliant for anyone with - or who wants to gain - knowledge of all the various media societies, and is also brilliant if you, like me, for some inexplicable reason have a deep love of student politics. If you want to be a part of next year’s Media Executive, sign-up sheets are going on the door of the Felix Office this afternoon at 3pm (Monday 14th) for the positions of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Put your name and 2 seconders down and come along to the meeting in the Felix back-office on Friday at 12 noon with your finest 5 minute pitch.
