Hi All First of all I would like to thank those of you who attended the BBC Broadcasting House tour and hope that everyone had a good time. Second - a quick reminder about tonight's AGM - I think quite a boring title for what is usually an eventful night of biscuits, beer, music and drunken banter. Come down from 7pm. Finally, the actual point of this email. On Tuesday 24th March Greg James will be coming to visit IC Radio for a chat/Q&A/mingle with our presenters and technical/production staff. For those of you who don't know who he is: Greg James was on student radio two years ago at Uni Of East Anglia - he went on to win "Best Male" at the student radio awards before being signed up by BBC Radio 1. He currently presents early breakfast and regularly covers for Scott Mills, Vernon Kay and even Chris Moyles during the christmas season. He also currently sits on the final round judging panel for the student radio awards and therefore is someone of knowledgable experience for those of you who have an eye on a career in broadcasting or even just a student radio award. I'm not yet sure how many people will be able to attend this event but I imagine it will be in the region of 10-15. If you would like to come please send me an email with "Greg James" as the subject title.
