Jingle Workshop, Felix Column & Show Banners!
Hey everyone, Half way though the term now and with the schedule filling up, there are some great new and returning shows filling the airwaves. BUT, it has come to our attention that there is a lack of show specific jingles. Therefore, a JINGLE WORKSHOP has been scheduled for this WEDNESDAY 11TH NOVEMBER in the WEST BASEMENT EDIT SUITE, hosted by the wonderful Cem Hurrell. You'll have the chance to make your own jingle during the session, and learn how to make more for the future. Spaces for this event are very limited; there will be two hour long sessions, one at 1300 and one at 1400, with room for just 3 people per session. To book your place, drop me an email (adam.gellatly14@ic.ac.uk) with your name, show name, and preferred slot. Speaking of great shows, IC Radio now has its very own FELIX COLUMN to help promote top-notch productions across campus. So, if you have a show that doesn't get the listenership is deserves get in touch! I'll have a listen to all the shows that contact me me each week, pick the best, and write a column about why students need listen to you. The column is still in its infancy, so if you have any ideas for future themes, just let me know. Finally: SHOW BANNERS. In case you're not aware you can upload a banner for your show to the members area, under the homepage editor, via a link to an external site, such as imugr, imageshack etc. Just make sure the dimensions are 900x300. Additionally, if you'd like your banner on the icradio.com homepage, I'll happily add it for you. Long Live the Croc! Adam Head of Promotions & Social Sec. P.S. Another social is coming soon!
