Hi all, Hope you all had a wonderfully festive festive season etc etc. Exciting things coming up this term: 24 Hour Broadcast for Charity! (ICRAGdio) Do you want to get involved? We're looking for people who want to do special editions of their show for an hour or two hours during the broadcast, last year was fantastic! We had about 12 hours of content with other regular ICRadio presenters and it was great fun! Also if you want to get even more involved you could help run it or think of crazy/funny challenges and forfeits for us to do during the 24 hours (last year we did something for every £100 we raised) Do you know anyone famous who'd be willing to do an interview? That would be unbelievably awesome. Any problems? ?Thanks to the tireless work of numerous people the studio now works pretty well, but if notice anything not working properly or have any ideas for improvements that seem feasible, PLEASE LET US KNOW! Do you want to join the technical or music teams and really learn about how radio works? Get in touch with me at manager@icradio.com and I'll point you in the right direction. Publicity! We want to advertise our shows in Felix, but it looks pathetic if we only have a few, so please type up small paragraphs about your shows/radio in general and we'll get a page in Felix and stuff it with awesome radio goodness. Are you doing something special like playing live music or interviewing someone? We want to know! Also, Freshers particularly, a few paragraphs about your first experiences of radio here at ICRadio would be great for a page on the Union's website. "A day in the life" kind of thing from anyone would also be really welcome. (Make it seem really easy to do radio...) Finally ?We lost our social secretary last term (hence the embarrassing ZERO socials). This term we have two replacements -- we will be social! Watch this space for info of when/where/what. Our schedule is fuller than ever, and the quality of some of the new radio shows is fantastic, so like always I want to thank you all! Radio lurvvvvvvvvvvvv Eamonn
