Hi, Just a quick reminder to everyone. We will be having our annual Christmas meal tomorrow night in the form of a "Christmas Curry" The plan is to meet at radio for 6PM, to move to Aldgate east tube station for 7PM - come to whichever one is easiest. If you can't make it then but are free later on I'm sure we'll go going for some drinks afterwards. The following day, this Wednesday, we are having a big afternoon of radio! Several people who work in the industry and really know their stuff will be coming down to our studio to give master-classes, answer questions and give tips on how to improve our shows. As well as the technical/promotions there will be a bit of careers stuff, but I've asked them to angle this towards us (as in people who aren't nessessarily primarily aimed towards the radio industry but are interested to find out what opportunities there are). FINALLY This Friday (11th) we're helping out with the RCSU Christmas Carnival. Basically they want us to do the music so I was thinking of putting on a sort-of IC RADIO vs. MUSIC TECH battle of the DJs.If you're interested in playing a little set (30mins) then get in touch!
