Ahoy lads and ladettes, Hope revision and exams are going well for everyone! The time has come to elect new members of the Media Executive Group! The Media Executive is a small but important part of the union’s life, and important for the running of your beloved clubs. For those unaware, Media Exec represents Felix, Photosoc, Stoic, IC Radio (WOO) and Magazine society at union meetings and fights tooth and nail for as much money for them as they possibly can, and that’s basically it. Three positions are available and open to all students: Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. The positions themselves aren't too taxing but they entail a certain amount of responsibility around the time of budgeting in the second term. Basically, Media Exec is the next tier of authority after a club chair (i.e., me) for approving big purchases and mediating any issues the media societies have. Put your name and 2 seconders down and come along to the meeting in the Felix back-office on Wednesday (this day next week) at 1pm with your finest 5 minute pitch!
