Hi, Just wanted to keep everyone up to date as to what is being organised at the moment. I've been talking to Jenny Wilson Re: Freshers' Fair, in particular, our stall placement for this years event. I've asked that we aren't near the stage and that we have a nice big open area to "kick out our jams". I also said that we would prefer to be in Beit Quad rather than on the steps of the Queens Tower, as that can be quite intimidating for people to come up and talk to us. Does anyone have anything else that they want me to ask for? We need to get planning our coverage of the day.... I also provisionally booked the Level8 Physics Common Room as a venue for Beer and Biscuits this year - its a much bigger open space where we can properly show off what we do. We can still organise little tours round the studio, but we will need a lot of people to help out... in fact I'd almost say that Beer and Biscuits is more important than Freshers' Fair. We need maximum attendance. So yeah, that's pretty much it for now. If anyone has any suggestions or anything at all please email me back! As soon as we've got enough people back in London we'll sort out some proper meeting :) Cheers Dan
