Hey everyone, Hope you have had a good first week of term! Here’s the radio start of year info. Studio Orientations We are running studio orientations twice weekly at 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on Thursday 13th October. One of our committee members will take you on a tour of the studio and explain how the equipment works. You do not need membership to attend, but you do need to sign up on this spreadsheet<https://imperiallondon-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/ssm221_ic_ac_uk/ESxzVlx7uMRJpqfaEJpKCt0BuY0FeHh5HlX2vnT64gesKA?e=x6wg1E> before. Meet outside West Basement at 18:00 (see map below). Accessing the studio and the key list To access the studio, you need the physical key card which you can collect from Beit Security Office (see map below). Once you buy membership<https://www.imperialcollegeunion.org/shop/csp/radio/radio-membership-22-23> your name will be put on the key list. It takes about a week for the list to update so buy membership ASAP! The Union have been tricky about this in the past, so please bear with us whilst they sort themselves out. We recommend showing up 10min before your slot in case of issues. There is a map of West Basement below to help you find the studio – you go down the stairs, straight down the corridor and it’s on the left. So just fill that out to book a slot and wait for an email confirmation. The schedule will be cleared so everyone needs to book, old and new alike, but priority will be given to old shows. Later in the term we are going to swap to a new booking system! *Beer and Biscuits* We are kicking the year off with our traditional social – Beer and Biscuits!! Due to freshers madness and union issues, it has been rescheduled to Monday 17th October. Come find us at the Union Bar from 19:00!!! Finally, the winner of the mascot photo competition will be announced on our Instagram just in time for Beer and Biscuits on Monday.
