why should you stand for ICRadio's head of programming?
head of programming: what do you do? baiscally you manage the radio schedule (it runs from an online data-base-y thing thats pretty simple to master). this means : -making sure everyone has a slot for their show(s) that they are happy with, -training new people so they can have shows (if radio continues to grow massivly and there are too many people to train by yourself, other commity members will help you out). -changing the shedule if someone cant do their show/want a different slot, why is it fun? -you get to meet lots of people: either from training the newbees or organising the schedule for the old ppl, -you get to go to commity meetings and feel all important, -the majority of the effort is at the begining of the year (just 'cos thats when most new people join and the schedule starts from scratch) which is when you'll be at your most enthusiastic and have minimal genuine-collage-type-work to do! basically: its a fab role to have in radio xxxx
