The media exec are having their elections this Wednesday at 18:00 in the shared studio. *There will be free pizza* The media exec help organise and run all the different media societies, it's like an 'uber' society - the chair/treasurer approve expenditure up to £1000 and the group work together to look after the individual societies. Any member of any media society can stand for a position. The positions are given below. Please email myself before the AGM with the position you want to stand for. All are welcome to attend - but there is only one vote per society (normally the president) plus the existing media exec. Thanks, George Butcher Returning Officer Media Development Officer 2014-15 *1) Media Chair* Responsible for running the overall group - they have financially responsibility and are the first point of contact for media for any externals. They also sit on Union Council and the Clubs Societies and Projects Board, representing Media at the highest levels in the Union. *2) Media Treasurer* Joint financially responsible with the Media Chair - they’re responsible for the financial well being of both the media exec and the member societies. *3) Media Secretary* Responsible for organising regular meetings of the media exec and the group and taking minutes at those meetings *4) Technical Officer* Works with the society technical and IT officers to maintain and improve the technical infrastructure *5) Development Officer* Works with all societies to further their aims and increase collaboration between different groups. *AGM Agenda:* 1) Approval of ICTV’s new constitution 2) Election of new exec 3) Magazine Society Dormancy 4) AOB
