Here are a few bits and pieces that I forgot to mention in my impromptu and very rambly speech last night... Student Radio Awards Hell yes we've been nominated!! Last year's IC Radio enthusiast Jen Whyntie earned us a nomination in the category of Best Speech Programming - the fourth year running that we've been nominated and, fingers crossed, the second year in a row that we win! The night will be a black-tie event<http://www.studentradioawards.co.uk/awardsevening> in the O2 on Thursday 8th November, hosted by Nick Grimshaw of BBC Radio 1 and Dave Berry of Capital London. Myself and my co-host have provided a mostly music set with some sneaky IC Radio jingles and show adverts already. The details are yet to be confirmed, but we'll be having a free all-inclusive jingles session for you show-hosts in the coming weeks.
