Thanks so much to everyone for coming to our Beer & Biscuits last night! It was definitely a success and a great way to kick off the year!

To get a show once you've paid your membership, our Head of Programming, Sophie, will be emailing the "presenters" mailing list with the details. If you think you're not on this list and would like a show, email me ASAP and I'll get you on there! People who want to be on the music team, you should be on music mailing list - let me know if you're not! And likewise for technical and production (i.e. live sessions).

 

 

As for more fun events, another party tomorrow night! On Wednesday 12th October we have the "I Love Student Radio Training Day" follwed by the annual SRA Nominations Party. The training day is being attended by professional radio names like Mark Crossley (Absolute), Maddii Lown (Newsbeat), Emma Stephens (BBC Radio 1xtra), and the nominations party is where we'll find out if any of our entries from last year have been nominated for awards!!

Personally, I'm just going to the after-party, but people are more than welcome to go to the full Training Day. Party starts at 6.30 pm, so shall we say to meet at Beit entrance at 6pm anyone who wants to go together and we'll get the tube! It is a guest list event but if you click attending on the facebook link then you’ll be put on it automatically.
