Hello!

This is your last week of normal radio! :-( To celebrate, this mid week announce is full of colours, for which I make no apologies.

Fear not though, we've got plans. We will have access to Rivendell which means we can still put out pre-recorded content, so if you want to record your own DJ sets, shows or radio plays - we can still broadcast them and host them on the site. We're also going to organise live events and broadcasts you can get involved with. If you've got an idea of something you want to do, get in touch.

Our AGM is this Thursday. We really really really need people to join the committee, there's stuff to do behind the scenes and we need volunteers to make it work. There's a variety of positions with different levels of commitment, you get to meet lots of interesting people, it's a lot of fun and also fantastic CV and interview material. If you can't make the AGM but want to stand for something, just let me know.

We will also be auctioning off our sofa, chairs, condom machine, whiteboard and more at the AGM. Get yourselves a radio souvenir and support the fund for new kit in the process - see here for what we're selling

There's also the media group elections on the 24th March - the media group oversees the functioning of all the media socs and its members have a real impact on what we can do - it'd be great to see some radio people joining it! Info below.

STATION MANAGER - Responsible for everything that goes on in the coolest society at Imperial - it's a busy job, but very rewarding. Email manager@icradio.com for more details. 
HEAD OF MUSIC - In charge of our team that looks through and reviews all the music we get into the station, in charge of the music we play on sustain and the station playlist. Email music@icradio.com for more info
DEPUTY HEAD OF MUSIC - Assists the HoM with all things musical - Kartik on kartiksinh.gohil11@imperial.ac.uk
TREASURER - In charge of IC Radio's ~£1500 budget, this is an excellent chance to manage our finances. Email chong.ho10@imperial.ac.uk to talk to Frankie.
TECHNICAL MANAGER - In charge of all the hardware including servers and works with the Head of Production to manage the sound equipment. Exciting, varied and challenging. Email Max on technical@icradio.com for more.
IT MANAGER - In charge of ICR's super slick website, members area, and all software related funstuff. If you like coding, pizza, and making creative content, email Stephen for more details on this role at it@icradio.com 
HEAD OF PROGRAMMING - An adjusted position this year - in charge of all the programming output. That means arranging a schedule, keeping people making shows and finding new types of shows. This is all about making the stuff ICRadio broadcasts as good as we possibly can. Email Keir programming@icradio.com 
HEAD OF TRAINING - A new position this year - this person is in charge of organising everyone's basic training in using the radio studio and also organising events to further everyone's competence, both in making content and with the equipment. They work with the technical manager to find out what is possible and how to do it. Ask Keir what it's like on programming@icradio.com
HEAD OF PRODUCTION - In charge of our recording studio, organising sound engineering trainings and live sessions. Very exciting with the upcoming new studio. Email production@icradio.com

How to stand 
If you already know what you want to go for, send Aislinn an email directly with the role(s) you're standing for, a brief 100 word manifesto, and CC in someone who's agreed to second you as well. You can stand for as many roles as you like, EXCEPT you can only stand for one of Station Manager, Secretary, and Treasurer. No Kim Jong-uns please.

Nominations will close on the night, but we will fill any remaining roles then too so make sure you come along!

MEDIA CHAIR
• Answers to DPCS and DPFS for the efficiency of Media Group administration and finances 
• Represents Media Group in Union 
• Aids club tour proposals 

MEDIA SECRETARY 
• Responsible for the efficiency of Media Group administration 
• Records and prepare minutes for the Media Group Executive 

MEDIA TREASURER 

• Responsible for the finances of the Media Group 
• Assists clubs in preparing IC Trust and Harlington applications 

TECHNICAL OFFICER 
• Provides technical advice to clubs 
• Provides support and assistance during collaborative Media Group events 
• In charge of the Media Group website 

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER 
• Works with individual clubs and the Union on long term strategy for Media Group development and expansion 
• Encourages collaboration between clubs 
• In charge of Media Group marketing
