Dear Ashlynn,

Many thanks for your reply.

There will be an audition process as we are obviously wanting the best new talent to present at the events next year.

Could any interested presenters please send an email as soon as possible with a little information about themselves, why they like sports and if they have any sports in particular they are passionate about, and why they would like to present at the Olympics. If they could also send a copy of their CV and a photo that would be great. We will then take any applications from there.

We are hopefully holding screen tests towards the end of October so would advise people to get in touch as soon as possible. Please don’t hesitate to contact me again should you have any further queries.

Many thanks,

Jessica

Hi Jessica!

Wow, thanks a lot for sending us the message! Our presenters (myself included) are very excited about it!

Is there going to be some sort of selection process?

Best regards,

Ashlynn Hayes

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am contacting you regarding an exciting opportunity in collaboration with London 2012.

My job is to hire presenting talent for the live venues at next year’s Olympic Games. Working with a production team, the presenter’s role will be to entertain and inform the public before, after and during events. They’ll have to vox pop the crowd, interview sportsmen and women and introduce the action.

For the biggest events, we’re obviously planning to work with well-known names, but we’d also like to give young and talented new presenters an opportunity to get involved too. We are inviting budding presenters who think they have the personality to carry out this exciting opportunity to contact us now to find out more information.

My contact details are as follows -

Telephone: 030 2012 2121

Email: jessica.cadwallader@london2012.com

It would be great if you could pass this opportunity onto presenters at your station so they can get in touch if they wish. Please feel free to also contact me should you want any more information.

Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from people soon.
