Unfortunately, I wasn't able to organise the Xfm and 6 Music tours in time for the end of this year, but we'll definitely keep in contact and get us some tours in October! In the meantime, if you want to see BBC Radio 1's new studios, the Radio Academy is having a tour on Thursday 11th July. If you want to go:

1) Send an email to affiliate@radioacademy.org saying you're with IC Radio, an SRA affiliated station, and that you'd like affiliate membership to the Radio Academy (should be approved in a day or two)
2) Sign up for the tour using the link in the email below.

AGM and Summer Social

Join us for our Annual General Meeting and have a drink on us at the Summer Social!

The Radio Academy’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 11th July to receive the audited accounts for the year ended 31st December 2012 and the Trustees’ and accountants’ reports (these will be available online from next week).

As it’s usually a pretty brief affair, we thought we’d follow it with a little Summer Social. So come and join us for a drink, catch up with friends and celebrate the fact that summer is finally here (ish)!

All members are welcome to attend, but you do need to register below.

Plus, since we’ll be at New Broadcasting House, our hosts have very kindly offered to give us a tour of BBC Radio 1’s shiny new home! Places are limited, so please let us know when you register if you would like to come on the tour too. First come, first served.
