Big thanks to everyone that has been getting involved with the society so far. It has been the best start to a year that I can remember and can only get better.

Next week is our “Launch Week”, we will be having a big section in Felix today (I’ve yet to see it) advertising our station and hopefully everyone that wanted to take part in it has had their training. If for whatever reason you haven’t had a chat with Ramy then waste no more time! Email him at programming@icradio.com. You may have noticed that some shows have a banner and “square” on the front page. If you would like your show to feature on this then you need to send me a 900x200 pixel banner and a 200x200 pixel square.

You should have gotten an email this week from Oli talking about our new members area setup. The boys have put a hell of a lot of effort into it and it’s looking great! If you have any questions about how it all works then contact oli on tech@icradio.com

Ok, onto the main reason why I wanted to send this email.....

The SRA Awards is coming up on the 11^th November. We are nominated for an awards and so are going to go for a meal as a station and then onto the big event. If you want more information about it then check out - http://www.studentradioawards.co.uk/ -

Tickets cost £25, but depending on how many people want to come we will subsidise this a lot. If you are interested in coming then I need your name by the end of the weekend.
