Big phat apologies for my radio silence 😉😉these past couple weeks - but we are back and ready to get groovy!!
RADIO STATION UPDATES:
The issues with the radio has been heard, we are working to sort them both out!! Keep letting us know of any problems/improvements, is super helpful for us in maintaining the station when you guys flag it up early - so KEEP IT UP!
* CARD ACCESS - I've called Estates Operation and flagged up the faulty card reader, so will hopefully be fixed early next week (it's also the union so don't worry I will continue hounding them until it's done). Until it is fully fixed, the plan is to:
* Manually override the card access (i.e. the door will be left propped open xxx). If this is not the case when you come to record, move to Step b!
* Go via the side door through the shared space. If you don't have access to the shared space, find someone in West Basement who does (would recommend either the music production or felix office) as there is often someone there!!
* DODGY RADIO STREAM - our resident tech wizard (Fraser May) has been made aware of the situ and will come back with updates when he has a look at it !! We will do our best to keep you all informed on the situ !!
* RENTING EQUIPMENT - if you want to borrow any equipment from our storage cupboard. Please follow as below:
* EMAIL/MESSAGE ME - so we are kept in the loop for what we need etc.
* Ask for Key 18 from Beit Security (the cupboard key should be attached)
* Write down your details on the sheet on the cupboard!

IC LIVE SESSIONS:
WE ARE BRINGING BACK IC LIVE SESSIONS (whaAAAAt)! First LIVE BROADCAST will be on Sunday 1st December, time TBC. Me and Lancelot have been working hard alongside Live Music and ICTV but it would be great to get as many people involved in the project as we can! There's a few jobs that would be siiick for people to get involved with !! Some potential areas of interest:
1.
Finding new artists to play on the show
2.
Promoting the show (making show logo, slogan, market the sh!t out of it)
3.
Presenting (asking the hard-hitting questions, helping the artists show their best side)
4.
Tech help (helping Lancelot w/ making sure the system is working etc)
