Hello existing IC Radio members!
We hope you all had a great summer and are ready for another exciting year of radio-ing. We've got some exciting things happening this term which we'll tell you more about later this week, but before then we have some important announcements especially for you.

Mailing list
Under the new GDPR legislation we have had to change how we organise our mailing list. If you still want to receive emails from IC Radio, you will need to sign up to our new mailing list. Just fill in this form<https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=B3WJK4zudUWDC0-CZ8PTB50…> and tick everything you want to receive emails from us about.
PLEASE NOTE: The current mailing list will be deleted immediately after I send this email, so make sure you sign up to the new one today!
Schedule your shows
We have cleared the schedule from last year and are now accepting slot applications for this year's schedule! If you want to run a show, beat the post-freshers' fair crowds by filling out this form<https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=B3WJK4zudUWDC0-CZ8PTB50…> today and we'll do the rest. Keycard access
We know that some of you have had issues with getting into the studio using your CID cards. We have spoken to security and believe this has now been fixed, but please let us know if the issues persist.
Committee Vacancies
There are two positions open on the IC Radio committee which we are keen to fill as soon as possible. These are:
HEAD OF TRAINING - Responsible for organising and running radio and podcast training for new and existing members, and communicating with the technical manager to ensure that training procedures and advice are up to date. Possibly the most important role on the committee (disclaimer: I may have filled this position myself in a previous life)
Note: this position is only open to those who have been members of IC Radio for at least 1 year
SOCIAL SECRETARY - Responsible for organising social events, which are especially important for a society which is often inherently anti-social. These could be anything from Beer and Biscuits through to a Metric night and beyond.
