Welcome back everyone!
We hope you've had a great break. If you've been blessed with January exams, congratulations on your survival!
Here are the important points from IC Radio:

Movie Night: Monday 29th from 18:30 in the Shared Studio
We'll be watching Pirate Radio<http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1131729/>, with bean bags and popcorn on hand. Before we start the film, we'll be holding one of our regular committee meetings. If you're interested in running for a position, do feel free to come meet the committee and ask us any questions you may have about running IC Radio!
For any Freshers reading this - please don't be afraid to join the committee. While it may seem a little daunting, I promise it's a worthwhile thing to do.
Union Bar Night - Date TBC
A bit later this term, IC Radio will be hosting a Bar Night at the Union. We'll be subsidising your drinks, so it's a great excuse to have some fun. Look out for some Facebook posts on the IC Radio Members page that will be gauging interest.
West Basement Cleanup: This Sunday!!
There will be free pizza if you come help out before 1 pm. Any extra hands would be useful.
Elections
Later this term, we'll be having our elections for next year's committee, accompanied by free beer & soft drinks & munchies and the usual banter. Please come along, as we need as many of our members as possible to make it legitimate!
The roles you can go for are:
STATION MANAGER - In ultimate control of everything that happens at the station, and a great position to be in if you want to implement some change! Email Seb (sebastian.gonzato14(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more details.
HEAD OF MUSIC - In charge of our team that looks through and reviews all the music we get into the station, in charge of the music we play on sustain and the station playlist. Email Thanos (athanasios.vlontzos14(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more info.
DEPUTY HEAD OF MUSIC - Assists the HoM with all things musical
TREASURER - In charge of IC Radio's budget, this is an excellent chance to manage a diverse and interesting society's finances. Email Charlie (charlie.cook14(a)imperial.ac.uk)
TECHNICAL MANAGER - In charge of all the studio hardware. Email Sean (sean.davies14(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more info.
IT MANAGERS - In charge of maintaining IC Radio servers and administering software updates. Email John (john.oliver14(a)imperial.ac.uk) or Fraser (fraser.may17(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more.
HEAD OF PROGRAMMING - In charge of all the programming output. That means arranging a schedule, keeping people making shows and finding new content. This is all about making the stuff ICRadio broadcasts as good as we possibly can. Email Thomas (thomas.carroll15(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more.
HEAD OF TRAINING - In charge of organising everyone's basic training in using the radio studio and also organising events to further everyone's competence with the equipment. They work with the technical manager to find out what is possible and how to do it. Ask Michael (michael.hain16(a)imperial.ac.uk) what it's like.
HEAD OF PRODUCTION - In charge of our recording studio and live sessions.
DISCO MANAGER - In charge of hiring out our equipment to other societies and individuals.
HEAD OF PROMOTIONS - Radio needs listeners, this person is in charge of making sure everyone at Imperial knows we exist. Ask Shivani on (shivani.dave17(a)imperial.ac.uk) for info
SECRETARY - Take minutes at committee meetings and assist the Station Manager. Ask me (william.micou15(a)imperial.ac.uk) anything.
SOCIAL SECRETARY - Important to do when we wouldn't see each one another otherwise! Ask Dale (dale.seddon14(a)imperial.ac.uk) for more information.
DEPUTY STATION MANAGER - Assists with the station manager in whatever capacity is required of them. Email Adam (adam.gellatly14(a)imperial.ac.uk) any questions you may have.
