Hey everyone, I hope that everybody who went on the tour of Radio One last Sunday enjoyed it. A reminder that the AGM for radio is going to be held THIS THURSDAY 17th of March at 18:30. Please do come along, as if you are planning on doing radio again next year, this will directly affect how the club is run! If you would like to run for a position, then please send your manifesto into our returning officer, Eammon (eamonn.postlethwaite12(a)imperial.ac.uk) The full list of positions were sent out to you by email about a week ago and can also be found on the Members Lounge. AGM next week, plus another position

Hey! Just a quick reminder that the radio AGM is next Thursday at 6:30 in the shared studio. Manifestos for any of the positions should be sent to our returning officer, Eammon, eamonn.postlethwaite12(a)imperial.ac.uk In the initial email, one key position was accidentally left out, which is SOCIAL SECRETARY. This is an extremely important position, so I encourage you to run for it. This year IC Radio has come on leaps and bounds in terms of activities outside the studio; beer and pizza nights, talks, and the upcoming Radio 1 tour. But there’s still so much more we could do! If you want to continue and improve on the work done this year, and have some great ideas for events next year social secretary is the ideal fit. Radio AGM on the 17th of March! Stand for a position!

We will be having our AGM on 17th March at 18:30 in the shared studio! We have lots of positions open so feel to apply for them! Please submit a 300 word manifesto to Eamonn, our returning officer, (on eamonn.postlethwaite12(a)imperial.ac.uk) if you want to stand. The positions available are as follows: STATION MANAGER - In ultimate control of everything that happens at the station, and a great position to be in if you want to implement some change! Email manager(a)icradio.com for more details. DEPUTY STATION MANAGER - Assists with the station manager in whatever capacity is required of them. Ask Rob what it's like on rg2112(a)ic.ac.uk HEAD OF MUSIC - In charge of our team that looks through and reviews all the music we get into the station, in charge of the music we play on sustain and the station playlist. Email music(a)icradio.com for more info DEPUTY HEAD OF MUSIC - Assists the HoM with all things musical TREASURER - In charge of IC Radio's ~£1500 budget, this is an excellent chance to manage a diverse and interesting society's finances. Email eamonn.postlethwaite12(a)imperial.ac.uk<mailto:eamonn.postlethwaite12@imperial.ac.uk> for more info TECHNICAL MANAGER - In charge of all the hardware including servers and works with the Head of Production to manage the sound equipment. Exciting, varied and challenging. HEAD OF PROGRAMMING - An adjusted position this year - they are in charge of all the programming output. That means arranging a schedule, keeping people making shows and finding new content. This is all about making the stuff ICRadio broadcasts as good as we possibly can Ask Rob what it's like on rg2112(a)ic.ac.uk HEAD OF TRAINING - A new position this year - this person is in charge of organising everyone's basic training in using the radio studio and also organising events to further everyone's competence with the equipment. They work with the technical manager to find out what is possible and how to do it. Ask Arran what it's like on arran.hobson-sayers13(a)imperial.ac.uk HEAD OF PRODUCTION - In charge of our recording studio and live sessions. Very exciting with the upcoming new studio. Email production(a)icradio.com DISCO MANAGER - used to be in charge of hiring out our equipment to other societies and individuals, now just a committee member ask Ivan on ivan.zheludev14(a)imperial.ac.ukif you're interested HEAD OF PROMOTIONS - Radio needs listeners, this person is in charge of making sure everyone at Imperial knows we exist. Ask Adam what it's like on adam.gellatly14(a)imperial.ac.uk SECRETARY - Very important position (if I do say so myself) - works with the station manager to look after the rest of the committee and know what everyone's up to.
