Hi If you *ordered a hoody *- they should be here tomorrow - come and pick them up from me in SAC (level 2M of the main union building) between 4 and 4:15. Email me if you can't make it then. The studio is all packed up! Sad times, another *massive thank you* to everyone who made the effort to come and help - I'll send round a photo gallery later. We'll organise some events for you all after the holidays - for now enjoy Easter! Hi, Thank you so much to everyone who came and helped pack up. Our original deadline was noon today, but since we ran out of boxes last night this has now been extended to Wednesday. If you weren't able to help because you had coursework etc you owe a huge thanks to those who gave up hours of their time to pack up! A special thanks to Max who has worked more on this than most people do in a working week, Eamonn and James who never seem to leave. Khush, Kartik, Cem, Stephen, Alex, Connall, Keir, Ellis Ronan, Matt and those who I've forgotten in my sleep deprived state, thank you! On Monday we will* re auction everything which didn't get sold on Thursday *including all the radio items that were de listed and more items not previously available. Hey all, Imperial College Union's West Basement studios are being gutted and redeveloped over the next term; lots of our old equipment is being auctioned off to make room for new equipment next year! Most of it is up on http://basement.su.ic.ac.uk/; there's still various odds and ends which aren't on the catalogue. Please circulate this to all mailing lists and friends which might be interested! Come along at 7pm tonight (Thursday), or email me your bids, item number, and phone number before 5pm! Everything must be removed by midday on Friday. Best, Max

Congratulations to the New Committee! Well done to all of you who came to the AGM on Thursday evening: 'delicacies' were eaten, a new committee was democratically voted in and someone bought 3 chairs for £9 in the auction. Now that's what I call AGM. I've put the names of the new committee at the end of the announce... IT Manager Position The IT Manager looks after and improves the website and all it's plugins. He/She will work with the Technical Manager to clean up technical issues while focusing on the software side of radio upkeep and be well acquainted with the Linux environment and Python. The Last Show You're welcome to join us for a breakfast show from 8 till 10 o'clock on Monday morning, at the end of which we will ceremoniously turn off the desk and begin to pack up... Packing up ...We need as many people as we can to come down and help us pack up from Monday to Wednesday. There is plenty to do: photos need to be taken, things to box up, cabling to be extracted and wrapped up... Please come and help. All nominees require the signatures of ten full members of the Union as seconders. The seconders do not need to be members of any Media clubs. Hello! This is your last week of normal radio! :-( To celebrate, this mid week announce is full of colours, for which I make no apologies. *1) Plans for next term* *2) IC Radio AGM - free food and drink - this Thursday 13th March - shared studio - next to radio* *3) Auction - get yourself a radio souvenir!* *4) Media Group AGM -* *5) Vote in The Big Elections. We will have access to Rivendell which means we can still put out pre-recorded content, so if you want to record your own DJ sets, shows or radio plays - we can still broadcast them and host them on the site. We're also going to organise live events and broadcasts you can get involved with. If you've got an idea of something you want to do, get in touch. Our AGM is this Thursday. We really really really need people to join the committee, there's stuff to do behind the scenes and we need volunteers to make it work. There's a variety of positions with different levels of commitment, you get to meet lots of interesting people, it's a lot of fun and also fantastic CV and interview material. If you can't make the AGM but want to stand for something, just let me know. We will also be auctioning off our sofa, chairs, condom machine, whiteboard and more at the AGM. That means arranging a schedule, keeping people making shows and finding new types of shows. This is all about making the stuff ICRadio broadcasts as good as we possibly can. They work with the technical manager to find out what is possible and how to do it.
