Sabb Election special- tomorrow!

Hey Radio kids, If you've been around college these past couple of days, you've probably noticed the frantic 'campaigning' of the group of people applying for union sabbatical positions (if you didn't know, they take a year out to work in the union, trynig to improve stuff for us). Okay so if your kind of radio has a political streak, or if you're interested in radio journalism, even if you just want to see them squirm when you ask them difficult questions, come down to Radio tomorrow at 2 for our Sabb election special show. The idea is that we give each of them 5 minutes to run off their spiel and for us to question them (traditionally asking the most probing questions we can). Hope to see you there- let's interview some candidates! Katie

Heyhey, This is a cheeky email to ask you all to come see MTSoc's production of Hair the musical next week (NOT hairspray!) It's an amazing tribal rock musical set in the late 60s with hippies 'n' shizz, and I promise it won't disappoint. It's next week- the 9th to the 13th of March in Imperial's very own union! Show Playlists!!

Hello dear radiopeople... Just wanted to remind you guys that you gotta remember to submit your playlist after each show, this isn't only for our records and your show's publicity (can put it up on your show's page) but also so that we are on good terms with the labels sending us free music!!! It's really easy to do and you even get reminded to do this after each show so please, take a couple of minutes and put it up. Sustain (the non-stop music system when shows aren't on) is now being updated every week and so we want to put up music that represents the station, something from each show. So basically, when you submit your playlist, put an asterisk or some kind of marker to highlight your favourite/most interesting/most representative track and that's what we'll put on sustain the following week. Here's also another chance to advertise your show(s). We can easily add a recording plugging your show whenever any of your tracks play (something along the lines of 'selected by presenter(s), tune in at XX time for the Show'). I WILL bug you every week if you don't put up your playlists (AND mark relevant tracks) so just DO IT!!!! Lots of love, Music Team

Nandos & Don'ts

Hello All Once again a reminder that there is a radio trip down to Nandos tommorow night. You know the drill by now but meet up in Da Vincis between 5.30 and 6.00 or get down to nandos after 6.30 and eat some damn tasty chicken. Also a quick message to presenters, the content of the old website for the show pages hasn't been carried over onto the new one. You can copypasta the content on the old website by going to http://old.icradio.com and finding your show, and then going to the members area, where the flash new page editors await you under "show homepage editor"
