both. though not at the same time. I'm not sure they are actually related. I have several 100 jobs running on that server, so I'm not quite buying into the 'this configuration can't work at all' explanation (because when we first setup that server we explicitly tested submission to arc ces). However it will have to wait until tomorrow, so I have all day to fix it when it goes horribly wrong :-D
