Hi All,

The dirac server is working again. Unfortunately we didn't manage to recover all the jobs and there will be lost sandboxes. Apologies.

There is hopefully money for a UPS for the dirac server in the next hardware purchase. This should at least avoid the problem of power blips. When (if?) we receive the UPS we will take the dirac down properly as we cannot debug the corruption problem properly while the system is up. This will be announced well ahead of time.

Due to an airconditioning failure we had an emergency power shutdown.
Unfortunately when the dirac servers came back, we found some database corruption. We are currently trying to fix this. If we cannot to this, we will have to revert to the backup from 31/01/17 20:00 and all jobs submitted since then should be considered lost.
I will email this list once we think dirac is usable again.
