[firedrake] question about surface integral

Dear all, Does anyone know how does firedrake evaluate surface integrals? Is it Gaussian quadrature? Can I find the detail somewhere? p.s. can I find a theory guide about firedrake anywhere? Many thanks, Kind regards, Serdan
