Dear Amireh, Installing Firedrake natively on Windows is a seriously unsupported option which is unlikely to work. If you’re running windows then there are two ways of running Firedrake: 1. Install Firedrake in an Ubuntu virtual machine. Many users find this very straightforward. 2. If you are on Windows 10, you could try using Windows subsystem for Linux to install Ubuntu under Windows and install Firedrake there. Using a different Linux distribution in either a VM or under Windows 10 may well also work, but is a less well supported option.
