Dear microscopists, because we have more and more parts which are used on multiple microscopes, like special objectives and filter cubes, we are introducing a FILM HARDWARE REQUEST message system: From now on, if you need any special bits of equipment like special objectives, filter cubes etc. - anything that's listed in the FILM WIKI as ON REQUEST, please go to the FILM SHAREPOINT BOOKING page and send a message to FILM HARDWARE REQUESTS. We will then make sure everything is in place when you start your session. This system is also intended as a notification system for other users using the same bits of hardware. To make this work, please subscribe to these messages: On the FILM SHAREPOINT BOOKING page, in the left side-bar under DISCUSSIONS click on FILM HARDWARE REQUESTS, then in the menu go to ACTIONS > ALERT ME. If more than one person requests the same equipment, the first person to ask will get it, obviously. The same two-week rule for booking in advance as for all other booking applies.
